Gently file off the top layer of top and polish with a nail file- acetone will work faster.<\/p>\n<p>2. soak a small cotton swab in acetone and apply it to the nail, wrap it in aluminium foil, clamp it tightly around the finger (so that no air can get in).<\/p>\n<p>3. after 10-20 minutes, remove the varnish with a wooden stick or metal pick (be careful not to damage the plate)<\/p>\n<p>4. Smooth the nail plate with a fine polishing block.<\/p>\n<p>5.
